Horny Nostalgia, 2018
A study of desire, memory and the familiar. Through sculpture, moving image and performance, childhood imagery becomes a site of awkwardness, humour and adult desire.
Shelter Study, 2019
Performance documentation and photography
A figure concealed beneath foliage turns the landscape into an improvised stage. Humour and vulnerability unsettle familiar images of masculine desire, leaving the body suspended between concealment and display.
Interlude II
Video, digital collage and performance
Cartoon ghosts become awkward figures caught between pantomime and sexual fantasy. Repetition and saturated colour explore how childhood imagery shifts when reinterpreted through adult desire.
Interlude III
Installation and durational performance, 2 hours
A ghost-costumed figure performs a prolonged pole dance within a theatrical installation. As repetition becomes physical effort, the work exposes the unstable relationship between erotic spectacle, humour and the performing body.
Interlude
Single-channel video, 5 minutes, continuous loop
Originally presented on a CRT television, a white ghost against a saturated red backdrop becomes an unlikely object of desire. The looping performance brings childhood nostalgia into an uneasy encounter with adult sexuality and camp humour.
